Yael Stone
Stone was born in Sydney and grew up there. She studied at her school, the Newtown High School of the Performing Arts (NIDA) and the National Institute of Dramatic Art. Stone began acting when she was just a child. Her roles included Me Myself and The Farm. She primarily focused on theatre. She won the title of Best Newcomer during the Sydney Theatre Awards 2008 and Best Supporting actor for The Kid. Apart from her role in the theatre, she's had a role on TV, in supporting roles such as All Saints or Spirited. She appeared from 2010 until 2011 in The Diary of a Madman. In this role, she received a nomination for The Sydney Theatre Awards for Best Supporting actress. The Diary of a Madman was staged by an ensemble of the Brooklyn Academy of Music in New York. In March 2011, she returned Sydney to play the leading role in A Golem Story (a story about a golem), Summer of the Seventeenth Doll as well as As You Like It.
